When spring returns it is always such a relief, it’s amazing what difference a little more light can make in our lives (not to mention all that extra vitamin D!). I find the winter months, especially January and February, so difficult that when the light finally starts to seep back into our days it feels like a wonderful blessing.
Over the last couple of weeks spring has been bursting open in deliciously green leaves and myriad blossoming flowers all over the city, it’s such a joy to watch. Being so busy lately I was worried I wouldn’t have a chance to capture any of it with my camera, but last weekend I managed to snatch an hour or two around Dublin’s Stephen’s Green and Iveagh Gardens parks.
The horse chestnut flowers have always been a favourite of mine, as have the lush colours of the cherry blossom so here’s a compilation of shots of both trees from Stephen’s Green park :)
