Summer is quickly fleeing. The mornings are chilly and the light fades earlier in the evenings. There are little yellow leaves waving from the tops of the trees, announcing autumns arrival. I thought I better share the last of my summer photos, before the new season really settles in and I step out in boots and jacket to capture leaves fallen around the city.
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer. We didn’t get a huge amount of sun in Dublin, but when we did it was bliss!

I miss Ireland so much. I hope I get back there one day. Thank you for the beautiful reminders.
I hope you get to come back for a visit someday too Diane x
A beautiful collection of images from a lush Irish summer. The rose is particularly lovely.
Thank you Mariéad, it was certainly lush and green from all that rain lol!
Ah I love all the green. I feel that I’ve lived in the desert too long and I need greener pastures. :-) Thank you for the lovely photographs of your surroundings.
I must admit I’d find it hard to live in the desert Vesna, the landscape is completely different. I’m sure it has it’s own beauty too though :)
What beauifully captured image, looking at these photographs reminds me of how beautiful Ireland is, dispite our lack of sunshine. Thanks for sharing
All things nice…
Thank you, that exactly what I strive for in my photography: reflecting back the beauty that I see in our country. I’m delighted that these photos can evoke that for you x
And such gorgeous scenes they are, Éad. So classic and beautiful and nostalgic. Your sensitivity to the natural moods of the environment come through in every image. Looking forward to Part II!
