Thanks Kerry, it’s sad to see summer go, it just seems so brief! But I must admit that autumn is one of my favourite times of year, looking forward to getting out and about with the camera in the fallen leaves! X
Hello! Ijust found your blog and have been swept away by how beautiful it is! I have really enjoyed reading through your older posts…and your photos are amazing.
Just the most exquisite use of lemon yellow here and there throughout your photos, it just pops….. and all your images of summer are beautiful…I love them!!
Thanks Catherine, I tried to stick with the warmer colours to get that sense of summer through. I have some photos that are greyer, we did get a *lot* of rain, but I didn’t want to include them here! X
It really was a most disappointing summer but you have captured some beautiful moments.
Isn’t it funny how we always think the summers of our youth were so much better than they are now?
I sometimes wonder if that’s because we mostly get our cameras out when the sun is shining?
Thanks Mairéad :) Sometimes I wonder if that’s because we had so much free time in our childhood summers to actually be out and about in the sun when it shone! x
They’re absolutely stunning E, I love that your photos have the power to transport. Can almost feel the sunshine x
Thanks so much Sue, I’m glad they make you feel that warm especially considering the wet summer we actually had! X
Eadaoin these are stunning. I especially love the one with the butterfly. xxx
Thanks Natasha, that was a quick capture, the butterfly really didn’t want to stay still for a photo lol
Sigh….cheers for the lovely shots and farewell Irish summer…maybe next year I’ll see her again.
