Last weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Mount Usher Gardens in Co Wicklow, and spent quite a few hours taking photos there. I hadn’t expected the gardens to be so lush with flowers and greenery already, but as you can see from these shots it was full of colour and new life. It was a lovely place to spend a spring afternoon!
I took some shots of the hyacinths growing in the gorgeous little Avoca shop attached to the gardens, and couldn’t resist a photo of the baked alaska my friend Emily tried (and loved) in the restaurant. (I guzzled down my lemon curd cake without even thinking about taking a photo, but I guarantee you it was delicious!). Hope you enjoy this post, I’d recommend the gardens to any visitors looking for a day out in Wicklow. I look forward to revisiting this beautiful place when it’s in full bloom during the summer months.
