Autumn Along the Canals of Bruges, Belgium ~

October in Bruges was intensely colourful, what a visual treat. We took a boat trip along the canals and wandered the cobbled streets in a haze of golden autumn sunshine. It’s just an hour on the train from Brussels, well worth a visit.

  1. How magical! It’s like a floating village…a fairytale place! I wonder how they take care of all the places that sit in the waterline?
Thanks for the tour…so lovely this time of year. I’m sure it must be a spectacle in snow and ice as well!

  2. How lovely! Bruges is definitely on our list for next year.

Oh these are absolutely gorgeous photos! I love autumn and all of it’s colours as it always looks so pretty, especially with these lovely buildings as their backdrop. Bruges is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for a long while now, so I must make sure I visit it someday soon. Lovely shots! – Tasha
